Well the other night sandra and i were able to share a lovely evening together and once again i put my mind to work to try and come up with something tasty to eat. On the menu was a pan-seared snapper, sauted shrimp and potato croquettes. I marinated the fish with canola oil, parlsy, dill, marjoram, and oregano(all fresh, oh yeah the other day i planted a great little herb garden too). I sauted the shrimp in some butter, garlic, cayenne pepper, and chili pepper. For the potatos i use the opportunity to practice my knife skills and cut them into Chateau pieces(which are 7 sided and 2 in long).
I put it all on this really cool modern square white platter and we just dug right in. All in all, it was a nice light but tasty supper. For dessert we bought a mix for whats called lava cakes. Wow! They were awesome and so easy to make. The box comes with everything you need. They have basically a thin cake outside and a runny chocolate fudge type inside. If you have never eaten them i suggest you go out and get some. Once again, super easy to make.
any way here is a picture of the end result of what i am going to call................Shrimp, Fish and Potatos!
