I have really embraced this whole taking pictures of what you make thing. I don't really do many interesting things during the week but I am always making something new and interesting. I love to just pull out random ingredients and see what I can come up with. Sometimes it completely flops but 90% of the time what i create actually tastes pretty good. Luckily anything that I make Sandra loves so even if I don't like it I know she will.
Well tonight I figured I would make something different. So...I made lentils in a tomato sauce, i whipped up a sesame-ish marinade for some pork tenderloin, made a quick spicy peanut sauce for some shrimp, and finished by grilling some zucchini. And I must say it tasted pretty good. And really it is a my statement to calgary weather. "There may be snow on the ground but I WILL Barbeque my food!"

That looks and sounds delish!!
I Love anything that comes off the grill!
Hey - you joined the world of real blogging, not that Myspace fluff :)
(came across the Myspace sites of some of the RMC choir peeps and ended up here)
Have you ever considered being a gourmet chef instead of a musician...hmm, maybe you could combine your talents and be a full service private chef - you know, cook the meal, then do the dinner music. Think on it...seriously ;)
You amaze me Brod!
I didn't know that you were a chef :) It looks yummy!
You will make a great husband one day:) Cher
here here to that last comment ;)
love you!
Brody, I am very impressed! I am not so good at "grab some ingredients and see what happens" so am always in awe of those of you who CAN! So...now I'd like bbq AND cinnamon buns when I come to visit! ;-)
yeah, f-u calgary. that'll show them, brody.
